Summary: This is a very pleasant cottage in a very pleasant village.Cleanliness is very important to me so I was happy to see how clean it was.I do, however feel the cottage is a little tired and could do with a new paint job, especially in the living room.My only other issue was the shower in the upstairs en-suite. It was nearly coming off the wall and once the pressure of the water reached the shower head, the water went everywhere. On a very positive note, the beds are very comfortable, ensuring we all slept very well.I had one small query while I was there and the owner responded very promptly with an answer.

Summary: The owners were v. responsive in communication. The cottage is located in a convenient location with easy access to a plaza and attractions. The house is well-equipped of necessities. The only complaint is that there was not enough hot water for the 4 of us to take shower. There was no more hot water after 2 persons have taken their shower. The washer/dryer does not seem to be able to dry the clothes. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

Summary: A lovely cottage that has everything you need and well placed for visiting the area. The local pub Wheatsheaf is great for food and local shops too. Breakfast at the Prison is a must. Great communication with Lorna and Genna and very helpful with places recommended for a visit. Would recommend.

Summary: The property was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and well equipped. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was great for our elderly relative, who can no longer manage stairs. Northleach is well situated for visiting the Cotswolds. We visited many national trust properties within a relatively short drive. Northleach church is well worth the short walk from the cottage and we enjoyed breakfast at the Old Prison Cafe and dinner at the Wheatsheaf both in Northleach. The Budgen was very convenient for picking up grocery odds and ends All in all a delightful stay.

Summary: The cottage was exactly as described, with an easy check in process and a lovely welcoming atmosphere (including a delicious Bakewell Tart, thank you!). We had confidence to stay here with our multiple allergies to fragrance after communicating with the responsive hosts. Northleach was a handy location to explore large areas of the Cotswolds while having a quiet location to return to at the end of the day. We also enjoyed the local shops and visiting the special church up the hill. My mum and I had a fantastic stay.

Summary: So happy to have found this lovely quirky little cottage. The location is excellent for visiting beautiful little towns and villages of The Cotswolds and there is a fantastic pub, wine bar. butcher, bakers, small supermarket and coffee shops all within walking distance of the property. There are also great dog walks from the doorstep and Northleach itself is a friendly little community - we were made to feel very welcome despite only being there a few days. Check in, parking and instructions at the property are all easy and Lorna and Genna really are the perfect hosts. We certainly hope to return soon.
